How to fix “Error 0 × 0000005″?
When Google Chrome installs in Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 unmanaged clients, showing the error “The application failed to initialize properly (0 × 0000005). The error is caused by a conflict with the implementation and monitoring.
Click “Start” and select “Run” from the menu. Then type “regedit” in the box and click OK.Go to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ SysPlant directory.

Click “Start” and select the topic “Change …”. Change the data value to 4 and click “OK”

Restart the computer to apply the change, you can now navigate without error 0 × 0000005.
