Chrome Tips & Tricks

Google Chrome covered up security and build issues in their latest released Google Chrome 4.1.249.1064 version. Google Chrome have addressed issues where it was not using the correct path for the Java Version 6, update 20 plug-ins, as well as the fact that its JavaScript benchmarks had plummeted in the most recent stable channel version.
For security issues, they’re patching three vulnerabilities all of which are ranked “High” in importance, which include memory corruption in HTML 5 and font handling.
According to reports, the new problems relate to a bug in the GURL library which allows attackers to circumvent the same origin policy. It’s also possible to provoke a memory error using prepared fonts, or when processing HTML5 media data. The vulnerabilities might allow an exploit to inject and execute code.
Updates should be pushed to the stable channel automatically, but you can always go to the tools menu to check for the latest version.
